The type of personal information we collect:

  • Images from Photoshoots. 

How do we get personal information and why do we have it:

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • You are viewing images from a photoshoot on our system before making a purchasing decision.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • The Photographer.

We use the information given to us to facilitate the processing and purchasing of photographic prints.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

  • Consent: Given by the Model(s).

  • Contract: Contract between the Photographer and the Photographic labs used.

  • Legitimate interests: Processing of photographs in line with the agreement between the Photographer and the Models.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behavior of registered and non-registered visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this from happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. We also aggregate this data to perform statistical analyses of our registered users' and non-registered visitors' characteristics and behavior.

Every time you connect to our website we store a log of your visit which shows the unique number your machine uses when connected to the internet (IP address). This tells us what you looked at; whether the page request was successful or not and which browser you use to view the pages. The use of this data is strictly for statistical purposes only. This helps us to understand which areas of the site are of particular interest and also which pages are not being requested. It also tells how many people are visiting the website in total.

Flyte Photography may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by email or an announcement on the website.

How we store your personal information:

Information supplied to the photographer is securely stored in our private cloud facility.

We keep personal data and images supplied to us for 18 months at which point images and data supplied are permanently removed, order information is kept in line with HMRC guidelines.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
